Launched in 2008, the annual Subaru Share the Love Event highlights Subaru’s commitment to the community, environment, and animals by donating $250 for each new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased between the middle of November and the beginning of January.
Since its start, the Subaru Share the Love Event has proudly donated more than $227 million to charity, with customers choosing between four national charities and over 1,700 local charities.
Each year, you can select between four national charities. Including the ASPCA, The National Forest Service, Meals on Wheels or Make a Wish
In addition, every year, Subaru Fort Walton Beach selects local charities to participate in the program. In 2022, we chose these two wonderful local organizations:
“The OCSO Star Charity was founded by members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office in 2014 to help fellow employees in need. The Charity provides financial support and labor assistance to OCSO employees and other charities during times of crisis or financial burden due to unexpected catastrophes. Since its’ inception the charity has donated more than $250,000 to people and organizations in need.”
“Healing Hoof Steps is the only facility within a 500-mile radius providing mental health counseling services with Licensed Mental Health Counselors using the EAGALA Model (www.EAGALA.org) as well as a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Program (www.PATHIntl.org) at the same location. Our programs focus on improving the mental, emotional, behavioral, and developmental struggles within our community. We serve individuals, couples, families, veterans, at-risk youth and groups through an experiential approach to healing through relationships with horses.”
